Sadly the time has come to close the doors on Oving Dog Training. Oving Dog Training was started in 2004 by our founder and great friend Veronica. It has run successfully for over 21 years providing a non-profit-making club for handlers to train their dogs from basic commands and socialisation to dipping ‘paws’ into the exciting and challenging world of competition. It has been blessed with wonderful trainers, and of course the amazing Carl, who gave their time voluntarily to help handlers achieve their goals, no matter how simple or complex they may have been. It has been a very hard decision, however most of us are now of an age that we need to step back a little as sadly we have not been able to find volunteer qualified/trainee trainers to take our places so, sadly, it is now time to say farewell.

Ruth is available for 1-2-1’s and is planning to start a new training club in spring 2026 so please keep an eye on this site as further details will be linked here around April/May 2026.

Finally, we wouldn’t have been a successful club without our lovely past and present handlers. We thank you all for your dedication to both us and your dogs.  We really hope that you have enjoyed your time with us and will continue to enjoy training your dogs whether keeping up what you have already learnt, further training or trying something new.
